Friday puppy portrait

We refer to Piper’s tail, which is usually curled up over her back end, as her mood barometer. Unless she’s been startled by a falling toy or an unexpected appearance of the garbage can, it’s usually upright.

Dogs have a fantastic range of facial expressions, don’t you think? It’s amazing how well they’re able to communicate with a glance, or a grin.

yes, dogs do so many neat things that many people who don’t have/love dogs know about! our boy is very expressive, i’ve never had a dog who smiled as much as him or who wagged their tail more!

even a dogs bark is so different depending on the reason they are barking in the first place. i always know when the mail has arrived because his bark is so unlike any others, he loves our mail carrier because she brings treats with her and speaks to our boy!
