Easter is over. And all we have left is a lot of chocolate.

Posted by andrea in: Easy ways to make kids happy| Misc. life

We had a lovely Easter weekend thankyouverymuch. Other than Sarah’s party on Saturday it was a little on the quiet side, mostly because of the weather. You see, weather-wise it was borderline winter here in Ottawa, which really didn’t motivate me to get outdoors.

I forgot to show pics! Here’s our Easter tree. Note the hanging-bluebird-egg decorations we made.

And here are the newest additions to our rabbit family. They are the brown ones in the foreground. We woke to find them in this stand-off position. But don’t worry, they get along just fine.

There are a few more on Flickr.

A few of you might be wondering what I did with the 40 or so extra Peeps I have lying around. The answer: nothing. Gah. I am going to melt them into Peeps Krispies today because there’s no way we can eat them all.

Unrelated newsflash: Emma walked to school on her stilts today.

What’s new with you?

Ok. Back to work.

Love the Easter tree, and the blue birds.

What’s new? My bambino (nearly 2 yr old…going on 5) has the stomach flu……….I’m disinfecting everything and making everyone develop red, chapped hands trying to avoid cross contamination. Arghhhhhhh.

damn, I should have mooched some peeps from you. I had a crouching tiger, hidden peep photo ready to go, but alas, I couldn’t find any in the ‘hood and there was no way I was going to Wal-Mart!

I love the bunny collection.

Love the Easter Tree. And the new bunnies, priceless.

How fun that Emma walked to school on her stilts. And we are sick of this borderline winter weather too!
