I am collecting my thoughts and will be adding my final update to my original 2010 Embargo post later today. Was it a success? How has it altered our shopping habits? How does the new puppy factor into all of this? What’s next?

Although we can’t say we stopped buying, the ‘embargo’ helped us to think about what we bought. And that was a good thing, cause spending our money is one of the last democratic actions we can exercise…we spend where we would like to see things go.
