A bit about happiness

One of my very favourite blogs is called the Happiness Project. It’s written by Gretchen Rubin, who’s working on a book about happiness and how we can become happier people. Her insights (and the comments that follow her posts) often make me feel better for reading them.

You must check out this post about the perfect gift.

I can’t wait for her book to be published. I’ll be the first in line to buy it when it hits the shelves in Ottawa.Â

ohh, just quickly glanced at it…looks like one I’m going to check out when I have more time. Thanks for sharing this blog…we could all use a little help keeping happy!

Oooh! Thanks Andrea! Actually, Kate and I started on a “Happiness Project” with a certain friend who has a secret that is really really obvious if you just read anything she’s written at either place she blogs, or look at her Martini Glass logo. But, I see how it works. Yesterday, with the few hours “me” time I get, I used it to volunteer to “fluff” the planters that our community filled with green boughs for the winter season. It was SO much better than just going to the coffee shop and blogging or reading. But now I want to do so much more, and keep that high in high gear. Thanks for the inspiration!

Thank you for visiting! My name is Andrea and I live in the Westboro area of Ottawa with my husband Mark and our two daughters Emma (14) and Sarah (12).
