Angels in Action

Angels in Action – a fundraising group for Ovarian Cancer – is hosting a fundraiser – a murder mystery dinner at Villa Lucia Thursday November 19, 2009. Tickets are $75.00 each with a $30.00 tax receipt. Money goes directly to fund research and patient care in Ottawa and the region. More info here: www.angelsinaction.ca

  • My latest article at Savvymom is about the Ottawa Green Bin Program. (We've been using it since December 1!) I've realized that most of our garbage consists of non-recyclable packaging, milk bags, styrofoam trays for meat/takeout, and fruit stickers. It's crazy how much it has reduced the amount of trash we generate!
