a peek inside the fishbowl

Well. Isn’t this a surprise?

Posted by andrea tomkins in: Misc. life

So this was waiting for me in my Inbox when we came home from camping:

RD_spanish.jpg

This was the email attached to it:

Hi Andrea, did you have any idea that they would
translate the [Reader’s Digest] article into spanish,
and publish it (May 2006) all across Latin America? :-)

I don’t know when the interview took place. Some
articles take months to be translated. I know because
I have bought the english edition whenever I go
(shopping) to the South of Texas with my family. Then
months later, when the spanish edition arrives home, I
find some of the articles I read months before.

Well, that’s all. Sorry for filling your inbox with
attachments of up to 1 MB, but I wanted to say hi, and
pass you something cool for your blog.

Let me know if you’re interested in a copy. I’ll send
it to you for free.

Take care,

Tomas U.
Monterrey, Mexico

FYI – the original scan of the (English) Reader’s Digest is here.

Thank you so much Tomas. You made my day. And Hello Latin America! Or should I say, hola ?
