I took Sarah to get her haircut today. She's three now, and aside from some little home-snipping here and there (bangs, and some scraggly growth at the back) her hair has never really been cut.
She needed it. Those adorable curls had grown into a bushy Einstein-like mop.
She was pretty nervous about it, but I managed to convince her to get in The Big Chair and sit still long enough for the hairdresser to get the job done. In fact, it was all over very quickly. We went to McD's afterward, as a treat.
I took this picture of her trying to dry her hands at McD's. It still cracks me up.

I found this while looking for cheesecloth. It was taken during the time Mark and I were dating. He used to teach at the local college. His students invited him to a fundraiser party at Barrymore's.
I was invited as the date. I was nervous because they were all totally scoping me out, The Teacher's Date. :)

Spring forward = fall down.
Daylight savings is going to kill me some day.
