<wednesday october 15, 2003 - 8:55 p.m.>

Thanksgiving pics are up on the main page.

I forgot to mention something very important. Thanks to Mary, I am now the proud owner of my very own glue gun.

<insert evil laugh here>

Godhelpme. I just dunked my finger in a tub of chocolate frosting and ate it. Just like that.

It's a slippery slope. I just might start licking the butter.

It is the Cruddiest Day Alive out there. I picked up Emma and our little next-door neighbor from school. We walked home. The wind was blowing so hard that it almost yanked our umbrellas right out of our hands on several occasions. We were drenched by sheets of rain. I am still feeling windblown.

Chocolate has never been so necessary.

Observation: yoga isn't much easier when you're doing it with three days worth of turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, cookies, chocolates, pumpkin pie, cherry pie, whipped cream, bacon bits, etc etc. lolling around your General Intestinal Area.

The list of consumables is actually MUCH longer, but I am feeling a wave of nausea as I type this, and besides, I want to preserve a little bit of pride and not reveal what a glutton I can be. I inhaled everything that was put in front of me then went back for seconds. No kidding.

It was a lovely Thanksgiving weekend, made notably so by the good company and the Epicurean talents of Mary T. (BBQ work by Gary T.)

Hope yours was equally nice.

We got back earlier this evening. I had 177 emails in my Inbox. (Why do people think I need a bigger pEn!s?)

More news/photos to post in the coming day or two. We were lucky to catch the height of the fall foliage on the way down. Amazing stuff, the Canadian wilderness. :)

p.s. Mark botched up the taping of this past Six Feet Under. Can anyone mail us a VHS copy? Drop me a line and let me know: helloquietfishATexcite.com.

I'm going to bed.

Gobble gobble woo hoo!If you are what are what you eat, than I'm going to look like (a) the picture at right or (b) a butter tart by the time this weekend is over.

I'm going to be occupado for the next few days. Too busy eating. So my appearance here will be limited and scarce.

I've had meetings and meetings, and my head is spinning with work and the various lists of "things" that I need to do or currently have going, and there is no food in the house, and I need a coffee, and I have books I want to read, and I'm tripping over piles of laundry. I have no socks, nor does anyone else! Time to turn this box off for awhile. Well, at least until Tuesday.

(Looking for the Supersquirrel Movie ? It's still online.)

Take care, and enjoy your turkeys. :)

Later,

andrea
